Access and Inclusion no longer so accessible: All CASS students transfer to ANU College of Science a
BREAKING: ANU Student Services is facing a backlog of over one thousand degree transfer applications from International Relations and International Security degrees, following the closure of University Avenue, announced on Vice Chancellor Brian Schmidt's blog on Friday.
While the ANU has declined to comment on the matter, an anonymous source from within the faculty has confirmed that staff are being sourced from the University of Canberra, to accommodate the impending influx of students into the ANU College of Science, and all other courses administered in the quarter-hectare of construction-free space surrounding Hancock library.
No precise timeline has been given for construction to begin in the last remaining thoroughfare to the teaching facilities of the ANU's most popular degree, but students have been advised to re-calibrate their lifestyles accordingly.
A number of students were interviewed at the Llewellyn Hall bicycle racks: "I really wanted to work for DFAT," said one student, who submitted her degree transfer application on Saturday morning. "But I reckon it'd be easier to become an engineer than to get to my POLS3001 tutorial via the CBE."
Other were more optimistic about conducting their studies entirely off-campus: "Yeah, I'd say Canberra Centre is the Pop-Up of 2018, anyway."
"And everyone knows Barry Drive is the new Haydon Allen. I haven't actually attended a class on campus since 2016."
The Daley Mail is currently investigating the accessibility of Access and Inclusion under the new setup.
