Coles Delivery Man Left Confused Following Bulk Order of Balloons to 52 Daley Rd Ahead of Burg Day

A local Coles delivery man has reportedly been left scratching his head after he completed a delivery of over 500 balloons to Burgmann College.

“That’s an awful lot of balloons, is it someone’s birthday?” he asked inquisitively.

“Haha yeah that’s it.” replied the 1B resident as they signed for the delivery.

The peculiar order comes prior to Burgmann College’s annual ‘Burg Day’, in which residents gather to celebrate its namesake EH Burgmann (or something like that, no one actually knows). The day honours the Anglican Bishop in just the way he would’ve hoped; a bunch of uni students getting drunk and passing out by 2pm.

The day has once again has the original theme: class division. Where on earth to these ressies find these wacky concepts is still a mystery.

The balloons in question are rumored to be used just for decoration.
